OUR FUNDING
Ambury Park Centre relies on the community for a large part of its funding. The school fees and riding fees paid by clients or supporting agencies contribute around a third of our income. Similarly, government grants supply about a third, so the board has to work hard to raise the further third needed to cover our costs.
The importance to us of the support and encouragement shown by organisations who donate cannot be overstated. We simply could not provide such quality programmes to those who most need it, if it were not for them and we thank them most sincerely.
We have been very grateful for major support from the ASB Community Trust and donors such as the Maurice Paykel Charitable Trust, Joyce Fisher Charitable Trust, Janet Fisher Trust, Lou and Iris Fisher Charitable Trust, Woolf Fisher Trust, David & Peter Picot Charitable Trust, Foundation North, Kelliher Charitable Trust, Chenery Memorial Trust, Sir John Logan Campbell Residuary Estate, Geoff and Nell Erne Adams Charitable Trust, Samar Khand Trust, NZ Lottery Grants Board, ARA Lodge No. 348 IC Charitable Trust, Star of Auckland Lodge No.26, Ziera Shoes NZ Ltd, NZ Riding for the Disabled, Auckland Council - Mangere-Otahuhu Local Board, Mangere Market Trust, Community Organisations Grant Scheme (COGS), Rotary Club of Mangere, Wilson Home Trust and Grove Hardware Ltd.
We also receive substantial support from the various gaming trusts, a number of other funders, individual donors and horse sponsors. The Board regularly organises fund raising events.
For a list of generous individuals and organisations that have helped us each year please see the President’s Annual Reports. The importance to us of the support and encouragement shown by organisations who donate cannot be overstated. We simply could not provide such quality programmes to those who most need it, if it were not for them and we thank them most sincerely.
